Registration for the Graduation Ceremony

Students who graduated in the Fall Semester 2016-2017, as well as those who are expected to graduate in 2016-2017 Spring Semester and Summer Session, are called to abide by the following procedure, in order to participate in the graduation ceremony which will take place on Saturday July 15, 2017.

1. A request to participate in the graduation ceremony
A request to participate in the graduation ceremony happens online (online registration)
Deadline: Wednesday May 31, 2017 (No request will be accepted after this date)
Students can insert a short sentence or a quote, which will be written, under their photos, on the Graduate Yearbook.

2. Deposit of a guarantee of 100 USD
Place: Accounting Office – Student Service (Registrar)
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm
Deadline: Wednesday June 07, 2017 (No request will be accepted after this date)

3. Collect your graduation gown and take pictures of yourself wearing it
Place: Backstage of John Paul II Amphitheater
Date: Please respect the dates indicated in the email you will receive upon your online registration
Proper dress code required (white shirt and a tie for men and a white shirt for women)

4. Collect the Invitation cards
Place: Student Affairs Office
Date: Monday July 3 to Wednesday July 12, 2017 from 8:30 am till 2:00 pm

5. The graduation ceremony
Place: John Paul II Amphitheater
Date: Saturday July 15, 2017 (Your presence is mandatory at 4:30 pm in your graduation gown)

6. Restitution of the graduation gowns
Place: Student Affairs Office
Date: from Monday July 31 to Friday August 11, 2017 - from 8:30 am till 1:00 pm

N.B.
- You can pick up your photos and videos when restituting the graduation gown.
- Refund process: at the Accounting Office – Students Service.
Refund of 90 USD from the deposited guarantee only for the students who participated in the ceremony or cancelled their registration before June 15.
Refund of 40 USD from the deposited guarantee for the students who cancelled their registration after June 15.
After August 11, 2017, the deposit will not be refunded.

IMPORTANT REMARKS
  • Students should have checked if the personal data included in their file (first name; middle name; last name; date of birth) is correct by submitting the necessary document (passport photocopy) before March 31, 2017 for students graduating on Spring 2017 and before April 28, 2017 for students graduating on summer 2017, otherwise the parchment will be automatically printed and a financial penalty will be applied to any request for modification.
  • This procedure is applicable for the students of the Main Campus of Kaslik and the Regional University Centers of Chekka, Rmeich and Zahle.
  • Participation in the graduation ceremony cannot be considered as valid proof of having obtained a degree/diploma.
