The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik is proud to announce the winning of the “Web of the Year Award” along with the “Best Technical Award”, within the framework of the Education Web Awards Competition launched with the support of Pan Arab Web Awards Academy which seeks to evaluate educational websites in the Arab world.

For the occasion, a gala dinner was held on March 10, 2011 at the Emirates Hall – Habtoor Hotel, as an award ceremony attended by a number of officials in the educational, cultural and political fields as well as representatives of Arab universities. Mr. Pierre Moukarzel, General Director of the Pan Arab Web Awards, handed both awards to Rev. Fr. Michel Abou Tacca, USEK Secretary General, who thanked the organizing party for such a unique initiative and ceased the occasion to present an overview of the USEK history and its major achievements, particularly the launching of “Let’s Go Green for a Sustainable Future” project which aims at transforming USEK into a carbon neutral university; Fr. Abou Tacca underlined as well the Gold Jubilee which USEK celebrates this year.
