The Doctoral College, in collaboration with the Main Library and the International Affairs Office of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, organized a doctoral training session on the “History of Ancient Arab Texts”, under the direction of Mrs. Anne-Marie Eddé. The training will take place from June 18 to June 23, 2012 in Beirut, Kaslik and Balamand University, in partnership with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Institut Français du Proche-Orient (IFPO), Balamand University, the Lebanese University, Saint Joseph University (Bibliothèque Orientale, Centre Louis Pouzet, CEDRAC), Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes (IRHT-CNRS), Laboratoire d’Études sur les Monothéismes (LEM-CNRS), Centre Jean Pépin (CNRS), Service de Coopération et d’Action Culturelle (SCAC) of the French Embassy to Lebanon. Within the framework of this training, a seminar took place in USEK, on June 22, 2012, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
