On Monday April 29, 2013, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) launched its new free mobile app “USEK Mobile App”, designed and developed by Neorcha, during a meeting held in the Main Campus, in the presence of the Secretary General, Fr. Dr. Michel Abou Tacca, the Director of Neorcha, Mr. Roger El Khoury, the Director of the Information Technology Department in the University, Mr. Ziad Eid, the Development and Innovation Manager in the IT Office, Mr. Nidal Khater, and the Project Manager, Ms. Joy Cremesty.

With the USEK mobile app, students can check for available courses at USEK, access their account balance, view their grades and even get information about their course schedules. They will be notified about main events and announcements and receive messages from their instructor! They can also find directions to locations and any administrative staff they need for help. Students can also privately chat with each other and publish their personal ads. USEK mobile app will also allow students to have access to USEK sports events, scores and news, as well as the latest vacancies. Most of the sections are now available to use - as for the rest they will be launched very soon. The application is available on Android and App Store.

Rev. Fr. Michel Abou Tacca declared that the University always welcomes innovative and new initiatives on a technological level to make students’ life easier. He expressed his gratitude to Neorcha for all its efforts in executing the application project.

Then, Mr. El Khoury took the floor and declared that his company was proud to work with the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik to achieve higher levels of success on a technological level.

Mr. Eid praised the efforts exerted by the working team in both institutions and indicated that the University would not spare any effort in seeking the latest developments in the service of its students.

Finally, Ms. Cremesty explained about the application and showed its benefits, and Mr. Khater thanked all those who had contributed in making the application a success.
