The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized two social gatherings about the current International Order, arranged by Dr. Francisco Barroso, under the title: “How the classics authors of political sciences are viewing the international order?”

This event was hosted by the Higher Institute of Political and Administrative Sciences.

The first session was held on October 30, 2014, from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm, in the meeting room (Main Library) at USEK Main Campus. The topic was: “The concept of power in the world politics: Niccolo Machiavelli and Thomas Hobbes”.

The second session was held on November 27, 2014, from 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm, in the meeting room (Main Library) at USEK Main Campus. The topic was: “Civilization vs Barbarianism. Privatization of violence in the new wars: Hannah Arendt”.
