On the occasion of the new academic year 2010 – 2011, the USEK Student Affairs Office (SAO) organized on October 12, 2010 a welcome get-together for new students at the outdoor premises of the USEK Main Campus. The event started with the student speech delivered by Layal Moubayed who welcomed the new students, shedding the light on the close relationship between the USEK students and instructors, and emphasizing the role of the Student Affairs Office in handling the students’ problems and meeting their various needs. 

While Fr. Michel Abou Tacca, Director of the Student Affairs Office, pointed out in his speech the USEK students’ achievements on both the national and international levels, and highlighted that the main purpose of the SAO is to welcome all students, to meet their needs and answer their questions, to facilitate their integration and to support them through their academic journey. The event was animated by ANZIM, a musical band made up of USEK students, besides the student Cynthia Keyrouz who sang in both Arabic and English.
