In response to the Beirut explosion, the Lebanese Maronite Order immediately opened its monasteries and Our Lady of Hope hospital in Byblos to victims displaced by the blast and those in need of urgent medical treatment.

Since the blast, OLM monks have been actively engaged, working on the frontline visiting homes, providing food, and clearing up debris, helping Lebanese people from all religions without discrimination.

We as USEK Alumni in partnership with St-Antoine le Grand Monastery (Montreal) are supporting the OLM’s emergency relief efforts by fundraising. With your help, we can continue to serve the affected communities by giving them the practical assistance and emotional support they will need for the coming months. Donations can be made either through the monastery website: www.dayrna.ca or by cheque to the Ordre de St Antoine le Grand (kindly mention: In support of Lebanon). Tax receipts will be provided to donors.
