  • The Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture and the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences of the #USEK are organizing the opening ceremony of the 13th Conference of the OIE Regional Commission for the Middle East. This event will be held on Wednesday November 11, 2015, at 8:30 am, in the John Paul II Amphitheater.
  • “On Wednesday 28th of October 2015, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik organized the Engineering Industry Advisors Meeting in the Campus Kaslik. The meeting started by a word from Dr. Georges Yahchouchi, Deputy President of Quality Assurance and Teaching & Learning followed by welcoming words from Mr. Pascal Damien, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Dr. Nabil Nemer, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences. More than 30 representatives coming from very well-known engineering firms in Lebanon brought important insights and expertise to review the Programs Educational Objectives of the following programs: Agricultural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering. The Industry advisors discussed also about the challenges facing our graduates in their professional work. We would like to thank all our Engineering Industry Advisors for their time and fruitful recommendations.
  • Within the framework of a series of meetings on the subject of "Ethics for all”, #USEK is organizing a discussion about the “Human Machine”, moderated by Father Farid Moujaber, Doctor in Philosophy. This event, hosted by the Center for Ethics and Bioethics of the Higher Center for Research, will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 18:00 pm till 19:30 pm, in the Conference Hall.
