In 1934, Farid Jabbour published his one and only book “The Scattered Flowers in the Language of Feelings” comprising 196 pages. The book, which was published by Abi El-Hawl Press in Sao Paolo, included his poems published in journals and those which were not published, all reflecting his transparent longing for his homeland, a feeling that could only be experienced by another immigrant and someone who has loved ones abroad. The book was not widely distributed in Lebanon since only a few copies arrived and those were mostly dedicated to friends.
This book includes the majority of Jabbour’s poems along with his autobiography and information collected from reliable sources.
