This book includes four plays by the poet Chebli El-Mallat, namely “The Honor of Emotions”, “Joan of Arc”, “The Great Individual” and “The Ammunition”. It is the first time that these four plays are collected in one volume. Each of these translated plays has its own style and features. They were written on different dates at the beginning of the 20th century, and the purpose of their publication is to preserve them from being lost and as a token of appreciation. They are accompanied with studies and investigations to clarify their circumstancesand facilitate their understanding. The book also implies the suffering of the poet Chebli El-Mallat to present this final version after adding many of his poems; thus, these prose plays were originally prose and poetic plays like many other Lebanese plays that were written in a specific time period.
