Antoine Kossaify is a professor of cardiology with sub-specialties in cardiac arrhythmia (clinical cardiac electrophysiology) and echocardiography. He commenced his tenure at USEK as assistant professor and presently holds the position of Associate Dean at the School of Medicine and Medical Sciences (SMMS) in which he has made numerous administrative contributions.
His research interests encompass clinical cardiology, echocardiography, arrhythmia, as well as health management and public health. He has authored over 40 articles published in indexed (PubMed) medical journals. A significant part of his work focuses on enhancing teamwork and ethics in healthcare institutions.
Since 2021, he has been primarily responsible for updating and maintaining the requirements for the SMMS accreditation process (TEPDAD). He also serves on several committees and subcommittees, including the Medical Education Committee, Curriculum Committee, and Admissions Committee.
