Miss Darine ZACCA is an Assistant Professor of Interior Architecture in the Department of Interior Architecture at the School of Architecture and Design. She joined USEK in 2001 as an administrative coordinator and she currently serves as Full Time Assistant Professor. Her journey in academia traces back to the spring of 2009-2010 until December 2020 when she served as a Part-Time Instructor in the Department of Interior Architecture & Design at the same institution.

Holder of Research master’s degree in Contemporary Arts, as well a Master’s in Interior Architecture, Miss Darine ZACCA, is a dedicated professional in the field of Interior Design and education. The earlier professional journey includes roles such as Interior Design, Architectural and Conceptual Studies and On-site Monitoring as freelancer and equally with Architecture Offices. She brings assets of experience and expertise to the realm of academia. She is mainly interested in research topics, specifically about urban ambiances, and experiencing spaces through human senses. In the present, Miss Darine ZACCA serves as a Reviewer at The Journal of Modern Civil Engineering, USA (ISSN 2470-4180). Simultaneously, she holds the position of Field Editor within the Editorial Board of Anadolu University Journal of Art & Design.

Miss Darine Zacca has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, combining practical experience with a passion for teaching and research. Her multifaceted career showcases a dedication to the enhancement of both individual and institutional knowledge in the fields of Research, design and interior architecture.
