Dominik Hamm is the Head of Department of Political and Administrative Sciences at the School of Law and Political Sciences , director of the Center for International Security, and member of the University Senate. His work focuses on the dynamics of political violence, hybrid conflicts, and crisis communication. Before moving to Lebanon, Dominik researched and taught at Queen’s University Belfast, where he was awarded a PhD in Politics for the development of a concept for Crisis Communication in Reaction to 21st Century Islamic Terrorist Attacks.
Dominik has lived and worked in Lebanon, Germany, Spain, Austria, Costa Rica, and the UK, also participating in academic and management collaborations in New York City and Washington DC.
