Faten El Hage Yahchouchi is an associate professor at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and currently serves as Associate Provost for Academic Affairs. Specializing in Molecular Biology and Immunology, she has published research papers in these fields and held several leadership positions since joining USEK in 2008: Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, Deputy President for Teaching and Learning, Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness, and Director of the Office of the Vice President for Community Life.
With extensive expertise in learning and effective teaching methodologies, curriculum design, assessment and evaluation processes, and educational technologies, Faten played a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted learning for USEK students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her extensive experience in campus assessment, institutional assessment data analysis, and reporting has positioned her as a key leader in securing institutional and programmatic accreditations from European and American accreditation bodies.
Additionally, Faten has a vast expertise in Tempus/Erasmus+ programs funded by the European Union, through a substantial contribution to the ADIP (Distance learning and pedagogical innovation) and E-TALEB (Professional Standards Framework for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Lebanese Universities) projects.
