Linda Rizk is an Assistant Professor of Modern and Contemporary History at the Faculty of History from 2016. She currently serves as the Director of the Institute of History and Archaeology. Her teaching experience includes undergraduate and graduate courses on modern history; contemporary history; and comparative state formation in Middle Eastern history.

In addition, she has made numerous contributions at conferences and workshops throughout Europe, and the Middle East on a range of subjects, including rethinking Cultural heritage, the Arab Renaissance in cultural and political history, and the Mandatory in Lebanon French heritage in Lebanon.

She is a dedicated history lecturer with over 13 years of experience. An active researcher of Modern and Contemporary Lebanese History and the broader Middle East History. She is actively involved in university and professional administration, holding membership in research organizations, and participating in various committees and councils related to my field.

Linda is co-author of The Lebanese Maronite Order in the last decade of the nineteenth century and has several published books and articles on various subjects such as the Arab Renaissance and Lebanese history.
