Lindos Daou is an Associate Professor of Marketing at the USEK Business School. Having joined USEK as an Assistant Professor in 2010, he currently serves as the Head of the Marketing Program. Prior to his tenure at USEK, he was an Assistant Professor in the Marketing Department at Effat University in Jeddah and also lectured in Marketing at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Notre Dame University (NDU).
Throughout his career at USEK, Lindos has held various positions, including Chairperson of both the Management and the Transport and Logistics departments. He has published several book chapters with Palgrave Macmillan and co-edited "Business and Social Media in the Middle East" in 2020. His research interests encompass university branding, student satisfaction, social media, and advertising.
In addition to his academic contributions, Lindos was selected by the Institute of International Education (IIE) and the U.S. State Department to participate in the Fulbright Scholarship program for Junior Faculty Development at the University of Illinois, USA. He has also served as a visiting professor at Varna University of Management in Bulgaria, where he taught "Global Marketing in the Digital Era." Furthermore, he worked as a senior consultant at Professional Financial Consultancy in Beirut, focusing on marketing and market research projects.
