Maha is an assistant professor in the Department of Interior Design at the School of Architecture and Design. Beginning her journey at USEK in 2007 as a part-time instructor, she was appointed as a full-time assistant professor in 2021 and also became a member of the Students Advisor Committee.
With a firsthand experience in monitoring and collecting data from extensive research, Maha focuses on integrating new technologies and insights from psychological disciplines into her work, particularly in conceiving and designing medical spaces. Through a collaborative partnership with Siemens Healthcare KSA, the findings of these studies have been extensively implemented in medical departments, resulting in T spaces that provide benefits extending beyond aesthetic appeal.
Alongside her academic role, Maha holds the position of Managing Partner at L.E.D. Levant Enterprises and Development, where she heads the engineering department. As a highly skilled senior project manager, she brings a wealth of experience in successfully overseeing projects of diverse scales, including cultural, pharmaceutical, commercial, and hospitality ventures, as well as healthcare and residential programs. Her expertise and proficiency in project management make her an asset to the organization.
Between 2013 and 2020, Maha collaborated with André Tabet for Contracting, which involved project development, on-site supervision, and the creation of as-built files for various hotels in Beirut. Additionally, Maha has extensive experience in studying, designing, and executing comprehensive site setups for conferences and exhibitions in the Arab countries.
