Marie-Rita Hojeij is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical, Telecommunications, and Computer at the School of Engineering. Having joined USEK in 2013 as a lecturer, she currently serves as Assistant Dean for Industry Partnerships and is a member of the University Senate Committee.
Marie-Rita has a portfolio of 6 registered and published patents across Europe, USA, Japan, China, and Korea. These patents have recently gained international recognition under the World Organization (WO), underscoring their global significance and impact in the field of telecommunications. Her current research interests include 5G systems and beyond, resource allocation, Internet of Things, machine learning, and large language model, areas where she continues to make substantial contributions.
