Randa Saliba is an associate professor at the Department of Languages and Translation at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). Having joined USEK in 2004 as a part-time instructor, she transitioned to a full-time faculty position in 2014 and was promoted to associate professor in 2023. She currently teaches English language courses and economic translation at the FAS.
Alongside her teaching career, Randa has worked as a freelance translator, handling legal documents, advertisements, movies, and more in Arabic, French, English, and Spanish. She became a certified public translator before the Lebanese Courts in 2003.
With a strong commitment to academic engagement, Randa has participated in numerous seminars and conferences across Lebanon, Italy, Brussels, and Prague. She has also published many scientific articles in well-known international journals.
