Rania Zgheib is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. Having joined USEK in 2016 as a part-time instructor, she currently serves as the Head of the Department of Mathematics.
Her research interests focus on data analysis, with an emphasis on hypothesis testing for high-dimensional datasets. Recently, she has been working on applying machine learning and statistical models to predict the pumpability of geopolymer materials. Additionally, her latest work explores the relationship between income inequality and its determinants, using advanced statistical modeling techniques.
