Rima El Soueidi is an associate professor of educational sciences in the Department of Education at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She joined USEK in 2023 as an associate professor.

Her research interests span both educational innovations and educational technology. Much of her work focuses on improving the teaching-learning experience and the learning design process incorporating technological tools to ensure a student-centered approach. She has contributed to the development of the BA curriculum in education, emphasizing professional and practical educational practices and ethics, as well as the impact of active learning approaches.

With over 15 years of experience in teaching, training, TOT, and school management, Rima has worked in various universities, training future teachers to acquire skills in educational didactics, professional ethics, the Lebanese educational system, classroom management, evaluation in education, social-emotional learning, and other major subjects. She also collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in addition to many NGOs and international agencies on diverse educational projects.

In addition to her academic roles, Rima is a business development and design thinking trainer, providing training to young entrepreneurs to help them create and grow successful companies.

She has recently acquired her Master Coach diploma in Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and Management, and participated in WolfPack summits on leadership programs and team-building training.
