Souha Al Geitany is an Assistant Professor of Business Management at the USEK Business School. Having joined USEK in 2024, she currently serves as the Head of the International Hospitality and Tourism Management Program.
Souha is an accomplished academic with two decades of teaching experience. She has taught at various institutions in Lebanon, including Balamand University, American University of Science and Technology, where she also served as the Business Department Coordinator and Advisor for two years.
In addition to her teaching and administrative roles, Souha has made significant contributions to the field through her scholarly research. Her three published academic articles demonstrate her commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation in the areas of business and hospitality. Her research has focused on consumer behavior in the post-COVID-19 era, destination social responsibility and residents' environmentally responsible behavior, as well as the relationship between financial development and the environment. These studies highlight her interest in exploring the intersection of hospitality, management, and societal issues. Through her work, Souha has sought to address pressing challenges and opportunities within the hospitality industry, contributing to its continued growth and development.
