Tilda is a professor of electricity and electronics in the Department of Electrical, Telecommunications and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering. Having joined USEK in 2005 as a
Chargé d’enseignement, she currently serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Engineering. She is also a member of several committees, including the Admissions and Transfer Committee and the Faculty Search Committee.
Her research interests focus on renewable energy resources, with a primary focus on photovoltaics and fuel cells, as well as sustainable development that harmonize environmental responsibility with technological advancement. Beyond her scientific endeavors, she is actively involved in promoting gender equity and significant inclusivity in diverse environments.
Tilda is a member of the Technical Program Committee for the REDEC conference and serves as a peer reviewer for numerous transactions, periodicals, and conferences. She has participated in organizing several local conferences and has supervised two PhD students. Additionally, she is a co-author of several research papers and has been the recipient of many grants.
