On September 27, 2012, the Faculty of Music at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized a Classical Concert performed by the Subito Trio: Sooksan Ratanapol (Clarinet), Jana Semaan (Cello), and See-Eon Kim (Piano), from the State University of Music and Performing Arts, Stuttgart-Germany.
Founded in October 2010 in Stuttgart-Germany, the Subito Trio, consisting of three devoted students of the State University of Music and Performing Arts, started rehearsing on a regular basis and attending lessons and master classes with the most professional German and international chamber musicians, such as Florian Wiek, Norbert Kaiser, Elena Cheah, Friedemann Rieger, and Stefan Fehlandt, among others.
Since its beginning, the trio has performed in Stuttgart and the South German region several times. They were asked to play on special occasions because they represent the highest level of Germanic musical education, especially because the Subito Trio mix a variety of cultures and nationalities together in harmony.
This concert is part of a tour which the Subito Trio is making across Lebanon, which aims to make classical music closer to the audience, especially as it has been previously marketed as being an unentertaining and disagreeable kind of music.
