Mr. Ziad Kreidy presented a classic musical concert during the Concert of Mediterranean Music organized by the USEK Faculty of Music, on January 22, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. in the Faculty’s Auditorium. This concert was held in the same room wherein the first recital took place in June 1992.
The concert included : Frederic CHOPIN, Deodat DE SEVERAC, Henri DUTILLEUX, Naji HAKIM, Claude DEBUSSY et Manuel DE FALLA.
Ziad Kreidy, a renowned talent in the whole world, prime winner at the age of seventeen of the 5th National Contest organized by USEK and the Musical Youth of Lebanon, Ziad Kreidy, once student at the School of Music of Kaslik, has become a grant holder from the French government to complete his musical studies in Paris. After achieving a long training, he obtained many rewards : Ph.D. in Aesthetics, Sciences and Technologies of Arts from Paris 8 University, first prizes of orchestration and analysis unanimously, and of organology unanimously with honors at the Conservatoire Supérieur of Paris-CNR, first prize in piano unanimously in the Contest central of Paris, etc.
His career has already taken him to perform in France, Germany, Denmark, Mexico and Lebanon, among others in front of the Senate in Paris under the IX Summit of the Francophonie, at the Louvre’s Carousel, the Government’s Palace in Beirut, in Al Bustan’s International Festival… Different radios and televisions stations registered his concerts. Among his partners, he counts the Netherlands Wind Ensemble, Quatuor Mexico, Camerata St. Louis, Claire Levacher, Bernard Bessonne…
