Under the patronage and in presence of H.E. Mr. Ali Hassan Khalil, Minister of Health, the Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized on July 22, 2011 a conference on “Health and Prevention: USEK Laboratories in the Service of Quality”.

The conference was attended by MP Walid El Khoury, Rev. Fr. Hady Mahfouz, USEK President, Rev. FF. Karam Rizk and Youhanna Akiki, USEK Vice-Presidents, Dr. Tobie Zakhia, President of the Board of the NSSF, Dr. Sharaf Abou Sharaf, President of the Order of Physicians, Dr. Ziad Nassour, President of the Order of Pharmacists, Eng. Sleiman Haroun, President of the Syndicate of Hospitals, Rev. Fr. Michel Eliane, Director of the CHU-NDS, Rev. Fr. Badih El Hage, Director of Beit Chabab Hospital, Rev. Fr. Michel Abou Tacca, USEK Secretary General, Prof. Jean Claude Lahoud, Dean of the USEK Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences, besides a number of the USEK Council Members, physicians, lecturers and students.
