The President of the Paris Bar, Mr. Jean Castelain in the company of a delegation visited the main campus of USEK in the framework of his meeting with the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Sleiman and other eminent Lebanese figures.

This visit aimed at renewing the cooperation agreement signed in 1993 between USEK and the Paris Bar Association. This agreement provides scholarships for law students, facilitates the exchange of legal documents and improves scientific cooperation.

The Rector of USEK, Reverend Father Hady Mahfouz, welcomed Mr. Castelain and the delegation, by recalling the commitment of the University to its policy of close cooperation with French institutions. For his part, Mr. Castelain has reiterated the support of the Paris Bar for Lebanon’s development.
