As part of the International Mother Language Day, the USEK Faculty of Letters organized an Arabic creative writing competition entitled
Li’annaha loughati l’oum (لأنها لغتي الأم).
This competition provides an excellent opportunity for all the university community from different backgrounds to participate in this cultural activity, share ideas and prove their talents!

Winners were announced during the International Mother Language Day on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Room B306, Building B.

Eligibility Requirements
Texts:
- must be original;
- should not contain any plagiarism;
- should not have been published or performed in any publicly available format, in part or in whole;
- should comprise a maximum of 1000 words;
- can be written only in Arabic language (only few words in another language are accepted);
- can be on any subject. Those with inappropriate or objectionable content are not eligible.
Only one text per candidate.
