Eating disorders are often misunderstood; however, they impact many individuals physically, emotionally, and socially. “Breaking the Silence” was an event, in collaboration with the Department of Nutrition & Food Sciences and the Department of Psychology & Social Sciences, that aims to raise awareness and encourage open dialogue about these conditions.

A panel discussion with experts and a movie screening shed lights on the struggles of individuals affected by eating disorders.
