The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), in collaboration with the Collège des Frères Maristes Jbeil, organized a concert of Argentinian music performed by Camilo Vagellos Palacios, oboist and Alejandro Reyna, pianist.

This event, hosted by the Faculty of Music, took place on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Music.

Biography
Alejandro Reyna is an Argentinian pianist and musicologist who has lived in France since 2008. In Argentina, he studied instrumental composition in Santa Fe in the Universidad del Litoral (UNL). In terms of musicology, Alejandro obtained a Master's degree from Lyon 2 University and later on a Ph.D. from the University of Paris 8, specializing in the work of Luc Ferrari and more broadly in French acousmatic music. As a pianist and due to his work with several piano synthesizers, he has accompanied several singers and instrumentalists of various genres, ranging from popular Latin-American music to pop and electronic songs. Camilo and Alejandro perform currently together in "Locomotora", a collective of electronic cumbia, and they work as a duo by offering a repertoire of Argentinian music.
