On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized a roundtable discussion, titled “Solidarity Through Volunteering”.

Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Hector Hajjar, Minister of Social Affairs, this roundtable shed light on the impactful volunteering initiative pioneered by the Ministry. Furthermore, USEK students enrolled in the ‘Civic Engagement’ course shared their success stories showcasing the profound bonds forged through volunteering. Representatives of various NGOs also provided testimonials on how these students made a tangible difference by volunteering.

This event, hosted by the Department of Psychology and Social Sciences at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, took place on Monday, December 4, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., in the Jean El Hawa Auditorium.
