Call for Papers

Following the success of the first two editions of the Doctoral Studies National Days, the USEK College of Doctoral Studies, in collaboration with the HCR, is pleased to announce the call for papers for the upcoming Middle East edition, taking place on May 21–23, 2025 at USEK - Lebanon.

This edition aims to highlight the achievements of PhD students on a regional scale, providing a dynamic platform for sharing, discussing, and advancing innovative research within the Lebanese and Middle Eastern academic community.

Competition and Awards

The Higher Center for Research, in collaboration with the College of Doctoral Studies, will organize an award competition recognizing students whose research presentations (oral and/or poster) are judged outstanding by a panel of faculty experts. Awards will be granted in each of the following research axes:
1. Law and Political Science
2. Education
3. Economy and Finance
4. Music, Cinema, Television and Performing Arts
5. Languages, Literature and Communication
6. Sociology, Psychology and Philosophy
7. Architecture, Design and Visual Arts
8. Basic/Fundamental Sciences
9. Applied Sciences and Technology
10. Medicine and Health Sciences
11. Agriculture and Food Sciences
12. Energy and Natural Resources
13. Environmental Sustainability

Like last year's conference, CNRS-Lebanon will play a pivotal role, and the jury members will represent various sister universities.

To participate, please follow the steps below and complete the required fields in the webform by February 24, 2025. If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified of the next steps by March 26, 2025.

2. Navigate to the Doctoral College section on the Academic Applications page and locate the USEK Doctoral Days – Middle East Edition card.
3. Click "APPLY NOW" and log in using one of the following methods to access the webform:
