The Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) organized a Café Éthique event on the theme of: “Spiritual Life in Times of Suffering, Illness and Agony: Is it Only About Religious Practice?”, a Vox Pop led by Rev. Fr. Samir Bechara, S.J.
This event, hosted by the Ethics and Bioethics Center of the Higher Center for Research, in collaboration with the Health and Environment Pastoral Committee of the Maronite Patriarchal Eparchy of Jounieh, took place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, from 7:30 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. in Zouki, the University Restaurant.
The Café Éthique is a gathering space for all those who wish to discuss ethical problematical issues that we encounter in our daily lives and lead us to make very difficult decisions. Any participant can express his/her opinion and discuss it with the rest of the audience, openly and dynamically, within a convivial atmosphere, over a drink. The expert who is attending the event comments on the interventions and leads the discussions in order to sum up with useful conclusions.
