The Crisis Management Committee (CMC) was established as the primary line of action in the event of any crisis, which may cause mild to severe disruptions of daily activities in USEK. It is chaired by the Vice President for Community Life, who reports directly to the President, and is composed of senior USEK administration officials and key staff from various schools/specializations. In addition to prevention measures, the CMC develops policies, procedures and action plans that are essential for the management of and recovery from crisis situations. The University’s perception as a safe environment is grounded in the committee’s timely and efficient response based on the principles of preparedness, accessibility, care, minimized impact, and effective communication.
