Prof. Georges Aoun holds a PhD in Commercial Strategy from Université Paris-Dauphine. After working several years as a senior consultant in Europe and North America, he joined the Faculty of Business Administration at the Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 1992 as a marketing professor and is presently Dean of the Faculty.
His previous positions at USJ include those of Vice-Rector for Research, Director of the Pole for Health Technologies and Vice-President of the Hôtel-Dieu de France University Hospital. Prof. Aoun is a member of the editorial board for two journals: Travaux et jours and Proche-Orient: Études en management. He is a member of several academic associations and has many publications in the fields of consumer behavior, ethics, and organizational design.
