“Engineering is the art of problem solving”, this is how we see it, live it and teach it …
I would like to welcome you to the School of Engineering of the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik,
Unfortunately, such a welcome comes in a time our country faces its most severe crisis, however, as engineers, where others see challenges, we are bound to see opportunities, opportunities of problems awaiting to be solved by our future engineers.
Our young and passionate faculty endeavor, as dictated by our mission and in line with the sustainable development goals, to provide an inspiring and inclusive environment aiming to develop students’ creative and critical thinking, and to form future leaders capable of addressing the emerging problems today and tomorrow.
At the USEK SOE, we understand the importance of entrepreneurship in the career of an engineer, especially in Lebanon, this is why this topic is at the heart of our teachings where we seek to nurture the spirit of innovation within our students through a practice-oriented approach.
Our six departments offer cutting edge programs in the engineering world while focusing on the concepts of soft skills and emotional intelligence. We try to find the right equilibrium in our programs between specialization and interdisciplinarity: combining data science and IoT within the sector of agriculture and food production, harnessing the latest advances within the biomedical sector, encapsulating sustainability within the energy and oil sectors, building on the synergies of the electric, computer and mechanical engineering within the sectors of mechatronics and artificial intelligence, exploring the potential of big data and data mining within the business world, exploiting the power of augmented reality within the construction sector, …
We work closely with our partners from the industrial and professional sectors to provide tailored curricula designed to respond to the needs of the job market, offering our students the best opportunities through a skill-based education focusing on a hands-on approach providing our students all required expertise adapted for the 21st century.
It is my profound hope that you become part of our family at the SoE and to be part of our society striving for a better tomorrow, rebuilding our economy and transforming our country into a hub for engineering, innovation and technology.
