Dr. Jackie K. Maalouf is the Co-Chair of the MENA and founder and Co-Chair of the Lebanon Chapter at Catalyst 2030.
She is currently Vice President of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) (First woman to be elected for this position from the MENA region) and president of DiaLeb, National Diabetes Organization, Lebanon since 2011.
Dr. Maalouf holds a Ph.D. in Public Relations & Communications from the University of Corllins in Virginia, USA.
She is a diabetes advocate and a firm believer in sustainability delivering talks about these topics and the SDGs at many local and international Forums.
Dr. Maalouf taught at the American University in Beirut (AUB) and the American University of Culture and Education (AUCE) and continues to offer training sessions in different topics. Dr. Maalouf has been an active board member of the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership LARP since 2014, she serves also on the board of few other local, regional, and global organizations. Her book appearances include: « The 100 » most influential Lebanese figures around the globe published in 2017 and « Women pioneers in Lebanon and the Arab region » published in 2010.
