Mr. Roberto Khatlab, CECAL Director, was invited by the Brazilian government to the 3rd Conference of Brazilians in the World at Itamaraty Palace, Rio de Janeiro (www.brasileirosnomundo.mre.gov.br ).

During the elections of November 2010 for the Council of Brazilian Representatives Abroad (CRBE), Mr. Khatlab was elected counselor of Region IV (Asia, Africa, Middle East and Oceania) and on December 3, 2010, the elected representatives were received by the President of the Republic of Brazil Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
