On June 26, 2012, the Latin American Studies and Cultures Center (CECAL) at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) received seven young Argentinians, students of Lebanese origin, who are visiting Lebanon to discover the villages of their grandparents and meet their families. They are members of the JUCAL (Juventud Unión Cultural Argentino-Libanesa - www.jucal.org.ar) and certainly are part of “Firqat al-Arz” (http://firqatalarz.com), group of Lebanese traditional dance founded 13 years ago in Rosario. Mr. Munir Nellmeldin (Najmeddine), coordinator of the group, and the young students were accompanied by Mr. Toni Kaddisi, Secretary General of the World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU), who is organizing their stay in Lebanon in preparation for the Gathering of the young Lebanese immigrants in the world.
