On April 3, 2013, USEK signed an agreement with the Universidad Central (Ucentral) in Santiado de Chile, Chile (www.ucentral.cl).

The Vice President for International Relations, Rev. Fr. Georges Hobeika and the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities, Dr. Hoda Nehme visited Chile during the twenty fourth Symposium of the Association of Catholic Institutes of Education (ACISE). During the visit, they met with the Rector of the Ucentral, Dr. Rafael Rosell Aiquel, of Lebanese origins, and signed agreement establishing academic exchange between the two institutions.
