Mission
The mission of the Industrial Process Engineering program is to graduate students who are skilled in applying design, implementation, analysis, and operation of large-scale industrial processes and manufacturing techniques.
Program Educational Objectives
1. Engage students in creative research and to deliver leadership activities necessary to coordinate and manage teams of engineers and technicians rolling in large-scale industries.
2. Prepare students to pursue a Ph.D. program in industrial/manufacturing engineering or other related fields.

Pathway for credential holders of MITx MicroMasters® Program
MITx learners holding a MicroMasters® in Principles of Manufacturing and a previous Bachelor of Engineering in any related field shall be granted 15 credits out of 30 towards completion of the MS in Industrial Process Engineering.
