Fondée en 2019, la Faculté des Arts, Humanités et Sciences de l’USEK est le produit d’un processus de refonte académique décidé en 2017, menant à la fusion de la Faculté des Lettres, de la Faculté de Philosophie et des Sciences Humaines, de la Faculté des Sciences et de la Faculté de Musique. Cette nouvelle Faculté comprend une variété de programmes qui favorisent la recherche, l’enseignement et l’expérience d’apprentissage des étudiants dans les domaines des sciences humaines, des sciences sociales, des arts et des sciences naturelles, notamment les mathématiques, l’informatique et la nutrition.

Mission

En accord avec la tradition de l’USEK et de l’Ordre Libanais Maronite (OLM) en matière d’enseignement des arts libéraux, la Faculté des Arts, Humanités et Sciences se propose de former des citoyens et des leaders sensibilisés aux questions morales, intellectuelles et technologiques en vue de promouvoir l’avancement des connaissances et le bien-être de l’humanité. Pour ce faire, elle dispense un enseignement et une recherche aussi poussés qu’approfondis dans le domaine des arts libéraux et des sciences.
