- Member of the Executive Committee of the MEDSTAT Programme.
- Member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Institute for Training and Research in Statistics (AITRS).
- Member of the Arab League’s Technical Committee in Statistics.
- Member of several national, regional and international committees and boards.
- Chair of several examination boards for recruiting civil servants in various Lebanese administrations and ministries.
- Supervisor of the first census of Palestinian Refugees in Palestinian camps and the gathered areas in Lebanon (2017).
Previous Positions
- Member of the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), headquartered in New York, elected as Asia’s representative from 2004 to 2012.
- Middle East representative and member of the Executive Board of the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS 21) from 2006 to 2012.
- Member of the Scientific Council of the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century (PARIS 21) for the preparation of the First Global Consortium meeting held in Dakar (Senegal) in November 2009; also chaired several working sessions.
- Chaired the global event on Measuring the Information Society, held in Geneva in May 2008.
- Represented Lebanon in several national, regional and international meetings, committees, and seminars.
- Holder of several national, regional and international awards and distinctions.
- Former member of the Executive Board of the World Bank’s International Comparison Program (ICP) in the Middle East.
- Former member of the National Commission for Lebanese Women and its executive board from 2002 to 2008.
- Lecturer over 30 years in various universities (Lebanese University, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Saint-Joseph University).
