Tony Abou Ghazaly was born to a family of contractors, but the upheavals in the contracting sector convinced him to pursue business studies and choose logistics, a field that was booming at the time. After an internship in a transport company, he realized that he did not like what he was specializing in at all, which was a luxury he could not afford. After much research, he decided to follow his intuition by taking a course he found at the Istituto Marangoni in Paris on management in the luxury sector.
On his return to Lebanon, he landed a job in Chanel Lebanon’s logistics department, a rewarding experience that combined both his majors. His ambition drove him to gain a Master in Media Studies with a focus on advertising.
Feeling the lack of institutions that provide short programs in specific fields in Lebanon, he decided to create The Agenda Beirut, which offers diversified courses is arts, luxury, media, and society among others. Following its establishment two years ago, The Agenda Beirut is now expanding to the Middle East, driven by Tony’s motto: “You’ve got to find yourself first. Everything else will follow.”
