Born on September 14, 1974, Michel Émile Kfoury, known by his stage name Wael Kfoury, is a Lebanese singer, musician, and songwriter. He is considered one of the most popular figures in Arabic music and is often referred to as “The King of Romance”.
His career spanning over 25 years has allowed him to make his mark as a Lebanese romantic icon.
After graduating from secondary school, he enrolled at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) and the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music. He had his breakthrough when he took part in the 1992-1993 season of Studio El Fan, the popular musical competition program aired on the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) and won the gold medal for Best Male Singer.
