A native of Baskinta – Lebanon, Randa Aalam Hobeika holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television (Cinematography/Radio/TV) from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). She is married to Élie Hobeika, M.D, a gynecologist at AUBMC and Head of the Department of Gynecology at Keserwan Medical Center (KMC) with whom she has three beautiful children: Kaya-Lynn, aged 9; Béni-CIO, aged 6; and Keanu, aged 1year 5 months.

Her career as an actress started even before enrolling at university, as she is passionate about photography, dancing, acting, screenwriting, and cinema among other things.

She has acted in several renowned Lebanese TV series, movies and short films, including:
- Talbeen El 2erb;
- Ahla Byout Ras Beirut (wherein she featured as Reem, a drug addict);
- Lamma Hekyet Mariam.

In addition to acting, her career behind the scenes as a producer, art director and director has had her working on a lot of TV shows between Lebanon and Dubai, with her biggest step being into TV commercials and the music video business.

To date, she has directed more than 120 music videos for a wide variety of Arab artists, such as Ahlam, Angham, Najwa Karam, Nawal El Zoghbi, Amal Hijazi, Wael Jassar, Ziad Bourgi, Nelly Makdessi, Madeleine Mattar, Houda Saad, Rida, and Adam.

While writing her own TV series, a work in progress for about a year now, she directed her first dramatic TV series, entitled “حادث قلب”. Composed of 30 episodes that are still being edited, the series will be aired on MTV in February 2020. She also cooperated with MBC and Shahed.net to shoot DIVA, a web series currently under editing and due online in a couple of months.
